Product   :  …..  is compatible with most of the

Compatibility   :  gums and chemical auxiliaries routinely employed in  printing oftextiles. However, the product is not compatible with Arabic and Crystal gums. Also, in  presence of borates it forms an elastic gel.  In  presence of high concentration of acid and alkaline chemicals, it undergoes oxidative and hydrolytic degradation resulting in lowering of viscosity.

Storage Stability    The product contains an eco-friendly fungicidal  preservative.  It is devoid of “ PCP”. In  dry form, it  is stable for 3-4 months provided the standard  storage conditions  are adhered. Increase in ambient  humidity leads to bacterial infection and loss of material quality and viscosity.   In paste form, it is reasonably stable . By addition of suitable stabilizers, if required, stability would be enhanced.

Stock Paste   While stirring 9 Kg of…..  is dispersedPreparation in  91 liters of water, the mixture is cooked for 2 hrs. andcooled to room temperature for  viscosity  development .

iisis a general purpose thickener, specially developed for vat discharge printing on cotton. It is also recommended as an excellent  printing thickener for use in  printing of polyester and its cotton blends with  disperse dyes.   It affords excellent sharpness, evenness and high colour yield. It gives better results when the prints are fixed by High Temperature Steaming (HTS) and easily  gets  washed off after the dye fixation affording  smooth fabric feel. The colour yield gets augmented when the product is mixed with anionic starch and cellulose derivatives.

Print Paste   :  In case of its use in printing of polyester fabrics,

Preparation        citric acid is added to the stock paste to adjust  pH between  5.5 – 6.0 for printing of polyester with disperse dyes.  Dyes and chemical auxiliaries are added.  Viscosity of the resulting print paste is adjusted with water to a desired level of  consistency and strained through muslin cloth to remove lumps. The paste is ready for use.
