MCC (Micro Crystline Cellulose)

Microcrystalline cellulose is a term for refined wood pulp as well as hosiery waste and is used as a texturizer, an anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, and a bulking agent in food production.

Applications:

  • MCCP is widely used for direct compression tablet and wet granulation.
  • Bulking agent in food products,
  • Coloring base of natural dyes
  • MCCP can be extruded to make low calorie spaghetti, macaroni and noodles.
