The equipment is fully automatic. It is controlled by a head loss sensor or by a timer. When cleaning system is required, the geared motor is switched on, pulling the cleaning rake which was originally in the horizontal position. This is rotated by electric motor which is connected with cleaning rake by gearbox. This is continuously clean the curved rake at each rotation and ejects refusals into a basket supplied with the equipment. A torque switch enables the equipment to be stopped in the event of a blockage.
This is a very compact design & fully assembled which is avoids a lot of civil works and allows quick setting-up. These units fit to any channel without structural alteration.
